Must See Now
This is the top rating and we feel that it is really worth your effort to see the movie in the theater. Don't miss it; you'll regret it later; highly entertaining. It may ultimately play better on the "big screen", at least in our view.

Worth The Matinee Price
Not necessary to race out to see this, but if you enjoy a good movie, this is probably worth it. It may have a few "down sides" but overall you will more than likely enjoy yourself.

Wait For The Video
Nothing great here but watchable. Something to pick-up at the video store when there is nothing in the theater to watch or maybe on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Don't Even Rent It
This is just not worth your time or money.

What we suggest is that you see a few of the movies we've seen (or rent one on our recommendation) and see if you agree with Carol or Phil. After a few tries, you'll know if we're in your ball park. In fact, you may find that the movies we hate ("Don't Even Rent It") you'll love. Or the ones we think you shouldn't miss ("Must See Now") you'll wish you did. Either way, if you follow our reviews, you'll see how our tastes compare with yours. That's the important part about reading a critic's review. Not every movie is for everyone. Just look at the difference between the two of us! Just because a famous critic thinks a movie is "exhilarating" does not mean that it has to move you; nor does a thumbs down necessarily mean you are going to hate the show.

And some days are diamonds, some are stones; and that too is going to effect how you feel about a movie.

What we promise is that we'll give you our views in a short, concise, non-threatening manner using words that you won't have to look up in the thesaurus. And we'll never give away the ending - at least not intentionally.
