| A tour de force by George Clooney. A movie that permits him, by doing little, to expose everything. Neither script nor story interferes with Clooney's dominance. While on its surface a movie about an assassin, it is, like many good films, the story of growing old and seeking redemption. | Is George Clooney looking for another nomination for Best Actor because if he is, he may be successful. This is a very intense, slow moving but excellent film about an American assassin (Clooney) in Italy Unlike the recent performance of Julia Roberts (Eat, Pray, Love) Mr. Clooney gives an excellent dramatic performance that keeps the viewer glued to her seat. There are no chase scenes, special effects or other “gimmicks”, just plain solid acting.
