| Very disappointing. Reconfirms that I do not, or cannot, appreciate Will Ferrell's humor; or is it that generally, he’s really much more silly than funny? Made even more disappointing since “Marky,Mark” Walberg also stars. In the last few films ,Walberg was on his way to serious acting; hopefully this doesn’t signal the height of his career.
This film has been surprisingly well reviewed; perhaps my taste in humor is revealing my age.................
| think I need anew category – maybe something like “completely awful” might work. And that is how this movie would be rated. Started and ended with interminable chase scenes with slap-stick in the middle. And not even good slap-stick! Mark Wahlberg was so disappointing that I almost walked out. Will Ferrell was his typical ridiculous self. There was just no point to this! Enough said. |
