| In a word, disappointing. It is not unusual that a sequel fails to measure up to its predecessor; indeed that is usually the case. So I should not have been surprised. Still, Robert Downey, Jr. was so good in the first, I so wanted to enjoy “2”. But like other sequels in other series, the filmmakers get lost in the “fx”, forgetting that sometimes it’s the actor.
| Once again, the sequel cannot match up with the original. Lots of action, shooting, etc. but not nearly enough of Robert Downey Jr. For me, he makes the movie; so when they try to add action in place of more lines for him, the “boat is missed”. Mildly entertaining so wait and rent it. Oh, and by the way, it is very “looooooong”.
