Stark realism helps lend credibility to a complicated script. | Screened at the Sarasota Film Festival 2010, this is an Iranian film (subtitled) about family and their fragile relationships. A family group and friends journey to the seashore for a weekend of fun and getting to know one another. Tragedy strikes and the speed at which the adults react and then descend into foreign behavior is well documented. Acting and directing are excellent; the weakness comes in the length and wordiness of the screenplay.
