| A British film about family, crime and criminal families. The former statement is more coherent than most of the movie. As Carol may have noted, it started slowly and then sped to a violent conclusion. | Was it because I couldn't understand the accent of the British actors or was the sound in the theater too low for the first 15 minutes? Either way I was pretty lost about what this entire film was about. Had I read the “blurb” in the Sarasota Film Festival guide I may have had a leg up on the plot (father and son have just been released from prison and are now both living at home with wife/mother). It is very slow to get started and it isn't until about halfway through that the action picks up and spins into a “murder mystery” of sorts. Unfortunately it isn't saved soon enough! Screened at the 2010 Sarasota Film Festival
