| Trite and predictable – unfortunately its also a true story. The script apparently follows the high school career and teen years of Michael Oher, a left tackle for the Baltimore Ravens. Oher was homeless and abandoned by his family before being befriended and taken in by a wealthy Memphis TN couple. Proving that a heart-warming story doesn’t necessarily make a good movie.
| This certainly was entertaining but could just have easily been a “made for TV” movie. The big difference is the appearance of Sandra Bullock. She was really good but she should stick to her natural hair color – she doesn’t “work” as a blonde.
