| Generally, I'm not a big Ben Stiller fan. Some of his antics in the "Foker" movies seemed way over the top. But in this sequel to the first "Museum" film, Stiller is much easier to take. Maybe it's because the script easily evokes laughter, or because many of the characters are caricatures from films past (compare for example the “dialect” spoken by Hank Azaria as the main antagonist with Boris Karloff; or Amy Adams’ character and Katherine Hepburn). In any event, this sequel makes for a light, relaxing, and entertaining night out. With little or no real violence, and silly antics from silly characters, this is a very perfect movie for kids under 14 and over 60.
| If you view this as a child’s film, I would rate it “wait for…”. If, on the other hand, you view this as an adult film, then stay home! Ben Stiller isn’t quite as annoying as usual so it was at least watchable. But the best part was the performance given by Amy Adams. She virtually nailed the role of Amelia Earhart right down to her diction!
