| It was sometime ago that Tom Hanks starred in The DaVinci Code, a previous novel by Dan Brown. It was this reviewer’s opinion that that film was unable to translate the novel to the big screen. I had found the book to be captivating and all absorbing, I rushed from page to page to learn what was next to happen.
This new film, which brings Dan Brown’s sequel, Angels and Demons, to the screen some many years later is more to my liking. Fast paced, easy to follow, and sometimes riveting, the director got this one right. Throw in breathtaking cinematography that provides remarkable panoramas of Rome and you have a movie that is much, much better then the novel from which it came.

Carol: Must See Now
Although I didn’t like the book, the movie was quick moving, exciting and well done. Tom Hanks does a very good job in the role of the Harvard Professor. Cinematography is excellent, making the viewer feel as though he/she is actually touring Rome.
