| I recently commented about the flood of “super-hero” movies, implying that Hollywood had overused the vehicle. Like most generalities, that painted with too broad a brush. This film starts out [don’t miss the first 5 minutes] in a blur of action and then continues to tell an interesting story, combining romance, action and special effects.
One of the better of the “comic book” genre, Wolverine uses the unifying theme of the origin of this hero-mutant to hold audience attention. At the same time both the title and the final scenes portend a number of sequels. Let’s see if each can meet our expectations!
| Excellent! See this soon for a wild ride through Marvel Comic’s newest on-screen release. Hugh Jackman is a joy to behold in the role of the “mutant”. Liev Schreiber is truly scary in his supporting “mutant” role. A great cast of characters leads to a fast couple of hours.
