A Quiet Little Marriage

Movie Review by Phil & Carol

A movie that, we learn, is explained and embodied in its title. Could be marketed as a marriage counseling, self-help film. Better yet, the young and in love should see it before committing to life together. Screened at the 2009 Sarasota Film Festival Sometimes a marriage has so much to deal with it just isn’t meant to survive. A father with Alzheimer, a dysfunctional brother, deceit – that is the gist of this “little” movie. Only 90 minutes in length, I felt as though it took hours to reach the end.
