| Sure it’s a chick flick (the theatre was as least 80% women), but what a good one! Funny, entertaining and fast paced. Every once in a while a role seems made for an actor – or vice versa. Zellweger fits this one like a glove. Sure to evoke a chuckle, and a tear.
| Some roles are just made for a particular actor and no one else would do justice to the role. Such is the case with this very funny romantic comedy starring Renee Zellweger. Simply, she plays a high powered executive living and working in Miami who is tapped to go to a small nothing town in Minnesota in, you guessed it, the middle of winter. You may feel that the storyline is nothing new, that it is predictable and even perhaps trite. But you won’t be able to deny that it is entertaining, funny and completely enjoyable. A true delight albeit a “chick flick” and just in time for Valentine’s Day.
