| As I heard someone else say "For a film where you know the ending it’s pretty good". That’s a pretty good summary of the film, its direction, and acting. It appears to be historically accurate, and -especially for the younger generations- should serve to bring to the fore the original tensions of Watergate, and the abuse of power that late night break in spurned. Personally, I had a hard time allowing Michael Sheen and Frank Langella portray characters that I knew well in real life.
| Documentary in format this film depicts the preparation and interviews by David Frost (Michael Sheen) of President Nixon (Frank Langella). Both stars portray their characters realistically and it is an excellent review of the time period when Nixon fell from his “exalted perch”!
