| Jackie Chan movies are generally funny, if not slap stick, or even silly. This one is more silly than anything else. Perhaps in Hong Kong, where Chan has a great following, this will play better. But as far as I'm concerned one person cannot, no matter how great his or her kung fu skills, defeat 35 or 40 warriors. Yes, I know about "suspension of disbelief", but for this film you'd have to suspend all beliefs; and the laws of gravity.
Nor did the addition of Jet Li add much to the action, or the comedy. Unfortunately, even though I have enjoyed most of Jackie Chan's movies, this one ranks at the bottom. Still if the audience where we saw the picture is any indication, none of the above will make a difference, and the film should do well at the box office.
| Another in a long line of Jackie Chan films; it was funny enough to rent but just so. Nothing very special about this and the story could be said to be similar to Wizard of Oz. If possible, find something else to do.
