Macy’s wide eyed humor overflows the script, making for a hilarious spoof of the industry – with a little romantic comedy thrown in for good measure. Fans of Macy and Ryan shouldn’t miss this one.

| The opening film of the Sarasota Film Festival 2008 was this gem starring William H. Macy and Meg Ryan. It is a laugh out-loud romp with lots of quick dialogue between the two stars. Basically, a down and out film producer is about to hit bottom when his nephew (Jason Ritter) shows up at his door with a script he has spent 2 years writing and it is all just fun, fun, fun watching Macy “pitch” it around. You will not regret seeing this.
