| Yes, it’s about a Pontiac, and the Salt Flats, and a group of “mature” women on a road trip. The cast is great, the picture is not. Clearly targeted for an audience of Baby Boomer women on a “ladies’ weekend”. If you’re one of the above, rent it during such an outing so that you can comment during the movie – it’ll make it much more interesting.
| Poignant is a very good word to describe this film. It is the story of 3 women who take a trip in a car and find so much more than just “scenery”. It’s a quite a journey and if you’ve ever taken such a trip with close friends you’ll really be able to “feel” what this is about. Definitely a good way to spend an afternoon with a girl friend.
