True to the book, it brings both the context and moral of the story to the big screen. A universal message set in Afghanistan before 9/11. Did you love the book? You’ll love the film. The film version is so close to the storyline of the book that it simply fills in the parts that you may not have been able to visualize while reading. It is just excellent. The cast is outstanding but not familiar.
