| A three part romance – boy, girl, child (“orphan”). Melodramatic at times, but just enough emotion for the Holiday season. Robin Williams is disappointing as the villain in the show, and with a similar performance in One Hour Photo, maybe he’ll stop taking such roles.
| This is a fairytale. There is really no other way to describe it. So if you go in with that attitude and just sit back and relax you will love this “happily ever after” film. The truly best part is the young star Freddie Highmore (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; Finding Neverland). His smile alone will stop you in your tracks. Releasing this at Holiday time was pure genius, as it is a real family event.
