| Not funny - about the worst thing you can say about a comedy. What a bad summer season for R-rated comedies: Superbad, Mr. Woodcock and now, Good Luck Chuck. All badly written, badly directed and unnecessarily raunchy. And Good Luck Chuck is the worst of the lot – not only not funny, it’s close to soft porn – but not erotic! A candidate for the worst film of the year.
| This film is so offensive that it is hard to believe it didn’t get an NC-17 rating. It is totally about sex and how to get it. And then once sex is attained we keep “seeing” it over and over and over again. There is nothing even remotely redeeming about this movie – not the acting, not the storyline, not the comedy. Forget it.
