| One of the worst movies I’ve seen starring Billy Bob Thornton. Actually remembering his performance in Sling Blade, I’m embarrassed for him. Nothing about this movie is worth seeing, not even Susan Sarandon. It brings up the age old question: “How do they get great actors to do ugly movies?”
| Is it because I’m not a particular fan of slapstick comedy that this movie just doesn’t make it? Or is there some other reason that both Billy Bob Thornton and Susan Sarandon fail to entertain? Take a simple story of a gym teacher who falls in love with the mom of one of his former students – should be entertaining, right? Well for a million reasons it isn’t. Sure you’ll laugh but once outside you wonder if you couldn’t have found something better to do for a couple of hours.
