| Grease with a social conscience (but with John Travolta). Sure its tongue in cheek funny at times, but it’s easy to make fun of the recent past. If you hear that John Travolta is the best part of this movie – think about what that says about the rest of the film!
| From the opening song of “Good Morning Baltimore” belted out by newcomer Nikki Blonsky we find ourselves swept along with wonderful dancing, a terrific score and a very important history lesson. John Travolta, Queen Latifah, Michelle Pfeiffer and an entire cast of talented singers and dancers bring the remake of the 1988 “Hairspray” film back to the screen with a whoop and a bang. It’s fun, fast and furious. Don’t miss it; you’ll come out of the theater singing and dancing.
