| A dramatic-comedy from Spain, its only redeeming quality is the Oscar nominated performance of Penelope Cruz. A rather simplistic plot with little in the way of excitement or action. Possibly best described as a black comedy, given the serious nature of the underlying premise.
| This is the story of a very strong woman and how she manages to walk through life as though it were normal. But be advised, it is not! You may laugh and then wonder just why you did at some of the situations in which she finds herself. Penelope Cruz is just excellent. Her looks are the perfect vehicle for the role and her performance is truly worthy of her best actress Oscar nomination.
